Gary Lowe | President
Church Organ Consultants, Inc. was founded and incorporated in 1980. Gary Lowe has served as president since that time. Church Organ Consultants serves central and southwest Virginia for all the musical instrument companies represented. Gary has an extensive musical and engineering background, uniquely qualifying him to present, install, and service a great line of instruments from both a technical and artistic side.
For over 40 years, Gary has served as the organist of the Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, which was pastored by Dr. Jerry Falwell, Sr. until he died in 2007.
Before becoming the organist, Gary installed a large Rodgers hybrid instrument in the original church on Thomas Road, where it was heard weekly by millions during the worldwide broadcast of the Old Time Gospel Hour. In 2006, the church moved into its new facility on Liberty Mountain, adjacent to Liberty University, where Gary continues as organist.
Until closing in 2025, he also served as organist for several years at the Court Street United Methodist Church in historic downtown Lynchburg, playing one of the city’s most notable pipe organs.
